Lynn works mainly in textiles, especially within the quilting genre. She is known nationally in this respect, having work in a number of public collections including the Crafts Council and the Victoria & Albert Museum in London. "Kantha, Welsh and North Country whole cloth quilting inform my own work from a technical, aesthetic and content-based perspective. The merging of these quilting traditions in my work culminates in the making of both singular and sequential hand-stitched cloths."
